What Should i name my baby think it over doll? and can u give me some tips on how to take care of it?
I’m going to get the baby think it over doll for health class and i don’t know what to name her and i was wondering if i should name her Bijou or Pashmenia Or Penelope So can you help with which name i should choose? And if you can give me tips on how to take care of it. It will help and is it hard to take care of one?
Oh my word. Ok so, it’s fun the first day and the night gets a little crazy but, you think you’re getting used to it until BAM! It cries off and on for 5 hours straight. It’s actually not supposed to simulate a real baby.. it’s just there to show how much you life would actually change if you did indeed have a baby. Disrupt your life a bit.
Some tips:
1. If the sensor doesn’t work on the back at first, there are also sensors on the stomach and in the groin area that you can use to scan.
2. Keep your baby naked in just a diaper and cover it with a blanket so when it cries, you’re not fiddling with it’s clothes and losing precious time.
3. Always try the bottle first, then the diaper, then try it again one more time. If neither help, it may just be fussy so you need to rock it or burp it (if you had just fed it) otherwise you lose marks.
4. You’ll soon start to recognize the different cries that it has and what each cry means.. bottle/diaper/fussy
5. When your done with it for the next few days you will hear the baby cry everywhere and freak out.. then realize that your acting a little crazy about a robot baby that you don’t have anymore. Hahaha. I almost freaked out in math class because I swore I heard it.
6. It’s a little devil and nothing like a real baby. A real baby you can give a few minutes before giving it what it wants, has smellier diapers and are a little more predictable..
7. Good luck! (:
It’s not hard.. just make sure to pay attention. This project is an easy 90-100%. As for the name, make it something that you would never use on a real child.. just for the fun of it. My friend named hers Obama. x) Penelope is really cute! (:
I like Penelope the best out of those!
I’ve never had one, but I’ve always wanted too :[
Answer mine please :]

Make sure you use the key (or wristband key) right away. I got 110 points out of 100 just because I never let it cry for more than a minute. Treat it like a real baby and don’t try to find ways around it. My brother taped the bottle to the face and set up a string so he could rock it at night, and put both diapers on at the same time. He didn’t fail but it really doesn’t make the assignment worth while.

Name it something cute and ironic…having meaning with your project. Like….Flour (because they used to use sacks of flour for this baby project)…or BC (for birth control)…or just Junior…something like that.
I had one in high school, and it wasn’t hard, except for having to take it with you everywhere. And, when it cries in the middle of the night, it is hard to wake up and stay awake long enough to feed it and get it back to sleep. I’m glad you are getting to experience this, but it is still not near as hard as a real baby! Good luck!

I loved my baby think it over, but i unfortunately did not get to name my little girl. Her name was Brooke. It’s so fun going out in public with it because you get so much attention. I got a 100% on mine, and i did really well. I had fun with it too!
1) Make sure to always keep her head supported.
2) If she doesn’t cry for a while, she isn’t broken, so don’t freak out.
3) If she doesn’t respond to the bottle or a clean diaper, try rocking her.
4) She may not burp everytime your done feeding her, listen to see if she is still making noise, if not, pat her back for approx. a minute and then lay her down if there is no response.
5) On the otherhand, if she does need burping, she will continue to make some sort of noise. Keep on patting for as long as the noise continues. Her coos will eventually stop abruptly, followed by a big loud "E.T. burp" as i called it.

Picking the name should come naturally after you hold her. As for caring for her, the babies can really test your patience, especially at night. Remember to burp the baby after feeding! If you feel overwhelmed during fussy times, take a deep breath and walk and rock the baby. It will sooth your nerves and the baby. Best wishes to you. I hope you do very well. We rent and ship these babies all over the United States to teen homeschoolers, and everyone has a completely different experience, which makes the project really cool.
